Announcement!

To everyone.
I have finally gotten my blog up to date!
It's a great feeling, although all these posts I have just made are very very rushed, and not in proper order etc. I also have to do a lot of writing, as you can see.
Also, the order is wrong on here, if you want to go from least recent to most recent then you have to scroll down and even click on 'older posts' so you can follow the proper ordering of my trip.
The most recent post is up the top of my blog page.
Sorry if this is confusing for you newies out there!
Enjoy!

The Sahara desert

Never will I forget the feeling as I walked outside to see the Sahara Desert laying before my eyes.

This place was just beautiful, and amazingly cheap!

Our view from our window. Camels just chillin before the trek.

This hotel we rested in after getting a 12 hour overnight bus ride from Fes, it was heaven!

We had woken up from our big rest, it was around midday (hottest time of the day) and we decided to go out onto the sand and to have a little look around. We lasted a maximum of 7 minutes out there. We found out it was 49 degrees celsius.
It was so hot that we didn't sweat out there in the desert but when we walked inside it suddenly all just poured out. A very crazy feeling!

The scarf definitely cooled me off out there!

Youseff the Camel.

Suit me?

Marty all ready for the trek.

The moroccan/Burbur man walks the whole way with no shoes on the burning BURNING hot sand. Seriously UNBELIEVABLE! Oh and also no map, nothing!

A lovely sunset, on the way to the camp.

Look at that happy chap! Does he look Aussie or what? Ha ha.

Mini sandstorm.
We made it!

Pretty exausted, yet so amazed at the beauty that surrounds me.

Tiny us and the dunes.

They made it to the top!

Desert Feast!! Never been so thirsty in my life!

Start of a fresh day (still thirsty).

Riding into the sunrise.

My camel wanted a sip!

Big smoochy camel kiss. Mwaaaa!

Bumpidy Bump!

Merzouga, town by the Sahara desert.

Burbur Tribesmen dude.

Merzouga. All homes are made of mud.

Cafe/Restaurant in Merzouga. Extremly hot!

Morroco - Another continent! Tangier & Fes.

Our Pension for the night. Cheapest accommodation yet, 6 Euro each.

Tangier and port, view from our window.

Train to Fes.

Still keeping up with the journal.

The Medina in Fes. There is over 3000 little streets in here.

The dying pits. This is where they dye all the leather and dry it out etc. One of the most stinkiest places I have ever been thats for sure.

Muslim Temple. These crazy sirens go off throughout the whole city 5 times every day to remind the muslims to go and prey. It scared the shit out of me the first time I heard it.

Fes View. Pretty spectacular I say.

Never ending rugs and carpets!

They were everywhere. The poor Donkey's..

This guy made the most amazing bags! And so unbelievably cheap, he was a very talented man and so very friendly.

Fes Medina and markets.

More cruelty.

A train ride I will never forget.

Arabic writing, so interesting.

Kids on the street.

Most of the houses looked like this.

Two great Aussie guys.
