Never will I forget the feeling as I walked outside to see the Sahara Desert laying before my eyes.
This place was just beautiful, and amazingly cheap!
Our view from our window. Camels just chillin before the trek.
This hotel we rested in after getting a 12 hour overnight bus ride from Fes, it was heaven!
We had woken up from our big rest, it was around midday (hottest time of the day) and we decided to go out onto the sand and to have a little look around. We lasted a maximum of 7 minutes out there. We found out it was 49 degrees celsius.
It was so hot that we didn't sweat out there in the desert but when we walked inside it suddenly all just poured out. A very crazy feeling!
The scarf definitely cooled me off out there!
Youseff the Camel.
Suit me?
Marty all ready for the trek.
The moroccan/Burbur man walks the whole way with no shoes on the burning BURNING hot sand. Seriously UNBELIEVABLE! Oh and also no map, nothing!
A lovely sunset, on the way to the camp.
Look at that happy chap! Does he look Aussie or what? Ha ha.
Mini sandstorm.
We made it!
Pretty exausted, yet so amazed at the beauty that surrounds me.
Tiny us and the dunes.
They made it to the top!
Desert Feast!! Never been so thirsty in my life!
Start of a fresh day (still thirsty).
Riding into the sunrise.
My camel wanted a sip!
Big smoochy camel kiss. Mwaaaa!
Bumpidy Bump!
Merzouga, town by the Sahara desert.
Burbur Tribesmen dude.
